What I Do
Building Data Organizations From Zero
I build the data organizations other people assumed were already there. That means more than infrastructure. It means walking into an institution where no governance exists, no shared definitions exist, and no culture has formed around using the data well.
It means deciding what to build first, earning the trust of business leaders who have been burned by IT promises before, and creating something that outlasts your tenure.
The questions I spend the most time on are not technical. Who owns this data? Who is accountable when definitions conflict? Who sits in the room when we document what a customer actually is?
This is the right architecture for a modern financial institution — not because it is the newest trend, but because it places accountability where it belongs: with the people who create and depend on the data.
